Netanya is a city in the center of Israel and lies on a spectacular coastline of the Mediterranean Sea. There are several tours to Netanya that depart from Tel Aviv and the surrounding area. The city has a lot of tourists, mainly from Europe, who come to it because of the beaches and the great nightlife it offers throughout the year.
Originally, Netanya was a moshava – a small agricultural village with citrus groves and a flourishing tourist trade. Today Netanya is a bustling resort city – Its 14km of beaches, and its central location of the city (30 km north of Tel Aviv and km south of Haifa) have made the town a very popular tourist resort. The city of Netanya offers dozens of hotels and guesthouses. Bustling pedestrian promenades, fashion boutiques, exciting night life, galleries, and restaurants offering fine European-style food.
For those who prefer to be cultural, there are also several interesting sites such as the Um Khaled Khan from the Manluke period. If you like museums you can go to the Museum of Diamonds and the miniature model of a diamond mine at the Diamond Center Museum.
There are also a few big nature reserves in the city such as the Iris Nature Reserve – located at the southern edge of Netanya there is a sanctuary for wild and cultivated irises. Another great nature site is the Poleg nature reserve – located 8km south of Netanya And offers an enjoyable hike along the Poleg River.
So if you are looking for a perfect vacation with Israeli sunshine, excellent food, and a maximum level of service when you come for a tour in Israel, do not miss out on Netanya. Thank us for this recommendation 🙂
